How will the New Silk Road affect the Swedish logistics property market?
For the third year in succession, Colliers is publishing a report which provides an overview of the logistics property market in Sweden. The report presents rent levels, yield levels and forecasts for the most attractive logistics locations in Sweden. Colliers also gives its view of the market's future development, including the observation that rental levels for the majority of logistics locations in the country look like stabilising and that forecasts are indicating a neutral rental trend.
This year's report is called "The Silk Road", referring to the enormous infrastructure investment that China has initiated and which has now reached a long way into Europe. The report analyses how the New Silk Road may affect Sweden and the Swedish logistics property market.
Anders Johansson, Associate Director | Industrial & Logistics: "Logistics remains extremely hot. Most municipalities are actively producing land for more logistics establishments, as there has been record interest in erecting new logistics buildings in recent years. The trend to construct logistics buildings on spec also looks like continuing and becoming increasingly common."
